This role reports directly to the Head of New Home Builder Sales.

Position Overview:

The New Home Builder Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with home builders and developers. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing opportunities, and working closely with the internal teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new clients in the residential home builder market. Manage and close existing opportunities ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the V.P. of Sales. Track and report on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Deako’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value propositions to prospects.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotes that meet prospect’s needs while aligning with company objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, marketing, and customer support departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with prospects to close deals that are beneficial for both the company and the prospect.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect interactions, and sales pipeline in the company’s CRM system. Provide regular updates to the Head of New Residential Home Builder Sales.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network of contacts and generate new business leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the residential home building or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with prospects and attend industry events.
