Software at Deako
The software team is a tight-knit team of smart, dedicated people. We are customer focused, we ship often, and are constantly asking “why.” We are passionate about the software we write. We work closely with other Deako teams. Developers at Deako are always looking for a better way and understand that no code is perfect.
Day to Day Expectations:
- Build reusable components and libraries for use in our mobile app.
- Participate in the code review process.
- Help maintain, contribute and improve our existing monorepo.
- Help maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and assist the overall development of the software team.
Must Have:
- Demonstrable knowledge in Typescript with 4-5 years of experience.
- 2-3 years of React Native or React experience.
- Experience building unit testable software.
- Experience in building test infrastructure (Automation/CI/CD) with Docker.
Nice to Have:
- React.JS
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- 1-2 years experience with IoT Devices or Smart Home.
- Bluetooth GATT/Bluetooth Mesh
